At the Sound Kitchen, there is a firm belief that music should be accessible to people from all walks of life. Not everyone has access to large amounts of money to pursue hobbies. We'd like to level the playing field a bit when it comes to music production. No matter where you're from, who you are, or what your bank balance is, you deserve an equal opportunity to be creative.
This years edition of the now annual ‘Pay What You Can Afford’ beginner course is taking place on Tuesday the 30th of August. You're invited to join The Sound Kitchen and Space Tours Records founder Mitch Wellings for a 3 hour course, kick starting your music journey.
If what you can afford is currently zero, that’s totally cool. You are welcome to a place. If you’re doing alright for yourself, then just offer whatever you’re comfortable with. Zero questions asked
Ableton is currently available to download for free from their website, as a 90 days free trial. It is compatible with both Mac and PC.
This 3 hour course is designed to cover everything you need to get started on your music creation journey. All we require is your email so that the Zoom link can be sent out to you before the date. Please message us with your email to reserve your space.
